Wow I'd love the arthropods, but not sure I want to invest with the other stuff too. Anyone not interested in the arthropods wanna go halvsies? :-P

I would want the piranha, so sure--you have the arthropods (+, I guess, two others? But I really like that octopus...) I'll take the others. Probably cheaper to ship to me than from the buyer anyway, what the $15+$5.77 to Canada.

PM me for any details!

Perhaps we could split it three ways? I was interested in the piranha but the lionfish is my real goal out of these.

*edit* Already sold, I hope it was you guys and not someone we don't know. (If it was you guys I can't wait to see some more detailed pics).

Yeah, we did. And I'm already claiming the fish!

Alright then, the two bony fish were really the only ones I was interested in, congrats you guys ;)

I know its rare, but is it really worth that much?

Sometimes, rare figures like this has a huge prize. Toyway WWD Liopleurodon is in the same situation  :-\. Buyers know very well the demanda of these figures sometimes.

I want to say that the Smithsonian Hidden Kingdom line was discontinued around 1999-2000, possibly even earlier (alongside the Tennessee Aquarium Salamander line). They were were still widely available for a long time after that; my guess is that they were quite expensive for a market that wasn't quite ready for a high-end replica like these. As for value, I couldn't say. They aren't common, but there should be lots out there, it's jsut a matter of finding them!

Jetoar

1999-2000!!! I thought thet they were more time available  :-\.

Yeah, 15 years ago, a long time!

I actually have almost the entire Smithsonian collection. except the monarch butterfly. they are not on ebay often but when they are theres not much competition to win them.  :)

That seller has a lot of the great models--the rattlesnake is very good, for example.

The mantis is tempting though...

I'm interested in the leaf insect and scorpion, if anyone is interested in splitting the cost PM me.

These Wild Kratts figures are interesting. I'd like the firefly, if someone wants to go in on it with me for the Draco and bat (or if someone was to buy the set, I'd buy the firefly from them)

They also have a 'Crawlers' set I just bought; mainly for the termite :)
