I am pretty content with my pinniped collection so far except that I don't have a Hooded Seal or more apparent...a Leopard Seal.

Who made the best Leopard Seal in your opinion? Looking for something that shows off it being more aggressive.

Morphologically, the Safari figure is probably the best, in terms of proportions. Both the Papo and CollectA have their 'mouths open' if you want something appearing aggressive, but they have minor morphologic faults. That being said, all three really are good, so you would be fine with Papo or CollectA

I like Safari's the best, it's the most lifelike and appears the most accurate. But it is less dynamic than Papo's or CollectA's. Between those two I prefer CollectA's, even though the head looks a bit off.

There are reviews for both the CollectA and Safari figures on the blog. They might help you decide.

I planned on going with Papo. It's dynamic and it is a good size in relation to my Schleich Walrus.

Just wanted to stir some discussion.
If I do get the Papo one I may just write my own blog article about it

The CollectA is pretty fierce, and the Safari has good anatomy. But I think the best one by far is the Kitan Club. The only downside is it's fairly small. I love this figure so much I want to get a tattoo of it someday.

If you end up ordering it and want to reserve it for the Blog, just let us know and I'll reserve it for you!

It does look good! But the teeth, I feel, could be more pronounced.

Still I'm not in to standee pieces for a full collection.

@bmathison1972 yeah go ahead and put me down to review the Papo — Leopard Seal as I will probably be getting it on my next HappyHenToy order.
