Blue Shark (Safari Ltd. - Monterey Bay Aquarium Collection)
« on: January 20, 2013, 01:24:41 AM »
This is a review of the Safari, Monterey Bay Aquarium line, Blue Shark (Prionace glauca).  It is about 18 cm long, about 1:20 scale.  Like all the others from this line it is retired(not really, see Brontodocus's comment below), but it is still fairly easy to find on ebay, amazon, and even some aquarium gift shops.

Very nice walk-around, Varanus! I still think it's the best Blue Shark figure by any major company. :)

Oh, it's still in production and available via Safari! :) There were initially 25 figures (if we count the Sea Otters as two separate figures) and 14 of them are still in the 2013 catalogue.

Wow, I thought they'd all been discontinued.  Nice to see some are still around. :)
