Those birds are splendid....and finally, a reasonably authentic Tiliqua figure - dunno if I like it or not that they choosed the most restricted, most unknown and most endangered species of the genus.

Yowie Group does focus on very endangered species as of late; part of their conservation efforts.

I plan on getting these:
Abert's lyrebird
brown sea cucumber
Chinhai spotted newt
hooded pitohui
mutable rain frog
peacock tarantula (sculpt looks like a jumping spider, though)
pygmy blue-tongued lizard
ruby-eyed green pit viper
rusty-patched bumblbee (even though the combs it is sitting on are those of a honey bee :) )
southern bent-winged bat
sunflower sea star
black-flanked rock wallaby

Am really shocked at the omission of an electric eel

Yeah...and they always had the knack to have some of the most uncommon animals in their line ups. And in fact, the Blue Tongue is well made for the size expected.

So I guess with this new line Yowie continues to publish a quite high number of "first ever made" species figures. Can't wait to grab them once Oz is open again and I can go back :)

I am surprised no fish at all; they usually have at least one.
