Walk-around of the Safari Ltd. Wild Safari Wildlife (but also listed in the Safari Farm line) Ostrich, Struthio camelus Linnaeus, 1758. Height is 88 mm but the figure is not standing fully upright and would be over 100 mm if it did. So the scale would be between approx. 1:20 and 1:27.  The last photo shows a size comparison with the taller and less gracile Papo Ostrich.
Here is a link to the figure at Safari Ltd.: http://safariltd.shptron.com/p/safari-farm-ostrich

Thanks, Ana & Jetoar! :) It's not that obvious when they're not directly compared with each other, but I really think the Safari one is the more realistic of the two.

Nice pics :)!
I have mixed feelings about this Ostrich. Some parts are good, some not so.
The manufacturers should give a figure a full base or not - but I absolutely do not like these 'snowshoes'.

Thanks, Helge! :) Yes, those snowshoes may devalue a figure somehow. And it was the reason why I went for the Papo first (but now I like the Safari better). The Papo has a small base but Schleich managed to make ostriches with neither base nor snowshoes. Detachable base, that's probably the best solution (at least for us collectors)! :)
