Tylacine ( CollectA Wildlife)
« on: August 03, 2016, 08:00:13 PM »
CollectA's version of this magnificent animal with a tragic story.
This figure is beautifully done, the best figure out there by far. For a change, it's nice that this figure is a female and with a baby :)

With Mojo's - they make a nice pair, just so happened that Mojo's is a male ^-^

My Collection

And with CollectA's other marsupials

Tylacine looks great! And in the last pic you got the loudmouth Tazzy and Tylacine, while the wombat is just like, "I'm gonna be quiet..."

for some reason toy companies feel the need to have predators with open mouths.

I can see why, so that kids can have the predator attack the prey. But for collectors, it just shows off mouth detail and dentary. I don't mind figures with open jaws though.

I'm a little late (lol!), but what brand is the third, grey tylacine? Sooo cute!  ^-^

It's not a brand, but a handmade resin model made by Joan Milelire (Bestiari/Likaon Models)

My CollectA Thylacine just came in the mail the other day and it looks good.

Wonder how the joey got inside the pouch upside down like that 🤔

CollectA is very nice, and a good one to get with the Southlands figure probably becoming harder and harder to find. The Mojo figure is nice in the sense it's the only one that doesn't have its mouth gaping open as far as possible :)

@bmathison1972 I wanted the figure to capitalize on the gaping jaw. Which apparently the Thylacine could open their mouths to 80 (compared to say 60 of a lion)
