Papo is finally making arthropods! A scorpion and a wolf spider!!! ('tarantula' based on it's Latin name, Lycosa tarantula). Now I can finally get Papo! I think they are taking lessions from CollectA...

Thanks for posting, Jetoar! :) I would not have thought that Papo would manage to get the eyes right but apparently they did. Leg articles seem correct, too. This has got to be one of the best spider figures yet produced by a non-Japanese brand! 8) Sadly, I think I'm beginning to dislike the Baryonyx, though...

This is an amazing figure of Lycosa tarantula. Bullyland did two versions of a wolf spider but neither comes close to this. The previous best is probably Takara's from the relatively recent venomous spiders collection.
I wonder if the scorpion will be Androctonus australis?

The video contains the wrong item image at around 2:30. It shows the previously released 50159 White Stork. However, Papo will indeed release a Marabou Stork this year: http://www.papo-france.com/catalogue/2016/index.html#p=18
