no brand African Elephant

no brand Whale Shark

Those look great! I do like that tiger with the bold stripes. Does he say "Made in Germany" on the bottom? I know Schleich animals made in different countries have different paint variations.

thanks. and you're right. the bolder striped one has "made in germany" mark on its belly while the other, lighter one is "made in china". and i also noticed that the bolder marked one is thicker/bulkier than the other one, so i consider both as resculpt/repaint, though they are both c 2007.

As long as the Koala doesn't play "Careless Whisper" in an endless loop anywhere near my favourite beer garden... ;D Really, we had a street musician there a few years back, it was horrible!
There's a Saxophone in the Safari Ltd. Musical Instrumenst Toob, by the way. :)

Edit: It's "Instruments", not "Instrumenst" I believe... :-[

I was going to say that, too. And I really want that Toob!

Lovely Koala too.  :D

They came flying from far away, now I'm under their spell....

Varanus

Cool!  And it appears to be a sculpted figure, not a cast of a specimen, correct? :)

tyrantqueen

Yes. I think it would be impossible to make a cast specimen at this scale. Cast specimens always tend to be life-sized, which this is not :)
