Another unusual figure from Mojo, the Black Crested Macaque. This is one species that is not represented in toy form, and not many people even knows about it ( I only knew since I saw a documentary show once). Endemic in only two island in Indonesia, Sulawesi and Pulau Bacan, where they were introduced by humans in 1867. This adaptable monkeys are found in forest and costal mangrove forest.
It's a nice, if not scary looking, figure well worth adding to any collection.

Bonus: two animals found on the same island as t his monkey, the Anoa and Babirusa

Brilliant, an absolute must have figure! :) I guess kikimalou will be especially pleased about this one? :D

EDIT: Oh, wait, this is supposed to be in the Mojö Fun section so I'll move it there...

Did kikimalou sculpt this figure? If so, wow, I'm impressed! I did not even know that he sculpts, too. I miss that guy, wish he would visit the DTF once in a blue moon :)

I have this figure. I wish more people did models of slightly more unusual species of primate.
Don't I take long uploading photos!
