Hello friends, this is the figure of Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) Temminck, 1827 of Mojö Fun - Wild Life. Total lenght is 70 mm. This figure was relased in 2012 and it is avaliable nowaday.Formerly considered a subspecies of the Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx), the Iberian lynx is now classified as a separate species. Both species occurred together in central Europe in the Pleistocene epoch, being separated by habitat choice.[11] The Iberian lynx is believed to have evolved from Lynx issiodorensis.

Mojö Fun is a young brand, but nowadays they have done a good figures of great quality as their sea life animals or prehistoric mammals. This figure is a good example. Sculpture, colors and details are awesome. From my point of view, its is one of the best replicas of this animal. I bought this figure the weeks ago  ^-^.

It looks a little boss-eyed but otherwise a nice figure. Not all companies add the pads on the feet so that's some serious attention to detail :)

I agree with you, the eyes and spots are the only problem of this figure  ^-^.

Interestingly, the ones I have seem to have a slightly more subtle paint job, and the eyes are quite as WIDE looking.

It's too bad the figure is discontinued; unlike, say, the original Mojo lions and Zebra (also discontinued) the lynx is a unique figure, and isn't being replaced.

Ana

Congratulations! Nice figure in your collection Jetoar!

I'm wondering if this figure should be put down on my wish list. I have pros and cons to this figure.

Pros

New lynx species to me
Would look nice in my collection

Cons

I have 5 lynx already
I don't need it for my collection
Don't I take long uploading photos!
