Beautiful AAA 1:20 Giraffe repainted by Harriet Knibbs - will she join here :)?

the Okapi is by CollectA

Yes, that's a lovely repaint she's done. :) It's a very sharp contrast to the original colour which isn't good at all. But it's a beautiful sculpt and now it has the colouration it deserves.

Big congratulation, Harriet is very talented  :)

Here is mine... painted by Harriet too

 :D Wonderful!

I bet there are more - we should collect them all here ;D!

Not wanting to sound rude...but shouldn't these go in "collections" since you didn't technically paint it yourself? I thought this section was for people to post their own repaints and gets comments...

They came flying from far away, now I'm under their spell....

It only says customized--the thread doesn't specify that the poster has to be the customizer.

I never thought about such a rule would exist (and I believe it doesn't). I don't know, there are people who make excellent customs for private collectors and then there are people who take excellent photos of those later on. And I know that the people who did the customs are normally very happy and proud about seeing their work posted. In the end this also supports the artist. I remember that on DTF v.1 e.g. David Krentz was very happy about others posting photos of his models and encouraged members to do so. :)

Oh, and congrats to you, too, Christophe! :) Sigh, I have that figure, too - uncustomised - and now I don't want to look at it anymore...  :'( ;D
