When I found a few pic's of two to be released sets (a Lucanidae set and a Dynastinae set) of beetle figurines by Acces Toys, I was mainly thrilled by the stag beetle set and Cyclommatus elaphus in particular.
Since the whole set of 7 figurines  each costed only about 6 dollars I purchased two stag beetle sets. Having in mind to customize some.

The figurines look realy good! and are mostly (not all) scale 1:1. Japanese  insect researcher Shigeru Okamura kept an eye on the development. For the price the sets are sold (about 6 dollars), you can imagine there have to be some restrictions. The paint is, not complaining, fairly minimalistic. But The modelling is very nice!!

The Cyclommatus elaphus in the set looks really like a subspecies Cyclommatus elaphus truncatus. So I repainted one of them as a more common version of Cyclommatus elaphus.
On to the pic's...

Left: the repainted figurine. Right: the original.

My Access beetles are still in Japan. I am waiting for my source to get all the new 2018 figures (F-toys, T-TARTs) before sending, but it should be soon!
