Luciola cruciata by Kaiyodo (Natural Monuments of Japan) really great figurine! :) The Kitan mono colour fireflies are also really good.

I do not yet have the Kitan fireflies; I only really want one figure of each species, but I have never seen them available.

I will post a pic.Their in different thorax (also not natural) colours. But the real colours are present to.

Sega has been more prolific than I thought; I have 3 sets of smaller figures and still not most of these. I have a set of 10 (or so) from 2008 with cards; two sets of 6 (or so) on wooden bases, and some in flight.

I have quite a few doubles if you are interested :)

L. cruciata and L. lateralis by Kitan. They have a button underneath to make a ledlight in their abdomen light up!
They had a plastic bridge for a cord between their antenna, which I cut of to make them look even more realistic.

Are these meant to be male and female of the same species? I have seen them advertised as L. cruciata and L. lateralis. I sent you an email about duplicates :)

Wow, there's a Chiasognathus granti among those Sega beetles! 8) I was close to buy some of those Kitan LED-powered Luciola figures but only found them available as sets of eight or so, so I passed on them...
