Welcome to the forum Grampus! I'm glad to see another fan of modern marine life! My favorites being whales (Sperm Whale).
I too am pretty introverted (This reply being the first in a couple of months, for both the DTF and the ATF).

Welcome back. What's your username on DTF, is it the same as here?
No, on the DTF it's JoeytheDeinocheirus, but I recently changed it to just simply Joey.

Hello every member of the lovely forum ATF, I've been gone for a good 4 or maybe even 5 months. Reason being... I've forgot my password. Besides that, I was also involved in the DTF even more than I previously was to the point of even forgetting about this forum. Today however I decided to comeback (also I remembered my old password) and login.
Nobody probably remembers me though, so this will be like starting over on a new blank page.

Fun fact, the narwhal also says made in Portugal even though the sculpt isn't very similar to the Maia and Borges narwhal.

Today arrived a large box filled with Papo and Schleich figures!
(A lot of Cetaceans of course!)
The list:
Sperm whale
Great White shark
Mini dinosaur set (the one with the mosasaur)
Sperm whale ( it says made in Portugal which means it's definetly a Maia and Borges sculpt)
Dromedary Camel
Killer whale

Welcome to the forum arafan!  ;)  :))

Yep, I agree widukind those are also some pretty nice models of unusual Cetaceans.  ;D

I like the cetaceans with barnacles on them--because, like me, those cetaceans are collecting arthropods!!  8) :P ;D
Hehe, I might recommend you a few nice Right Whale figures then. Your collection will never be complete without whale lice or barnacles parasitising on whales! ;D
That is very true my friend!

Ok brontodocus! I will definetly try that!

 ;D  :)) That's a good one friend!
And yes that's true, and I also like those types of whales.

Nice figure overall, but I feel like the mouth is a bit too thick and short.

Today my AAA Sailfish came in, and it's much bigger than I expected.
And I have to say that's it's gorgeous.
Also sorry I don't have any pics because I just don't know how to post pics.

Nice crab figure Blaine!  :))

This is the best Right Whale figure out there, in my opinion.
Thanks, CetaceanFan. The Colorata figure is very nice, too, but it's only about half as large.

Wow! Everything in Colorata is really awesome! It's a pity it's so smaller than this, since all my other cetaceans are about in the scale of Safari's Right Whale, and it would not show well aside them. Luckily also Safari's is a nice figurine, but damn... Colorata is another level!
Well the Colorata one, could be a juvenile at this scale.

I honestly think it depends on the lighting and the age of the figure.

Yeah that's the one that I forgot to add in to my list.  :P

Finally! A company that got this turtle species correct, especially the head. ;D

I live in the US, and I forgot to say this but I prefer online shops.  ;D
