Wow, that's not just a very good replica of a monitor, it's also a cast I probably haven't seen before. Looks very different from the big one of your earlier walk-around.

Yes, the details are very good. This guy is actually even bigger than the previous monitors (I'll post a comparison so you can see the size difference)

Oh, I think I see a resemblance between this model's colours and the species of monitor lizard, Varanus Mertensi



Perhaps that is the species that the manufacturers intended to sell it as (even if the identification is incorrect)

Awesome replica. I distinctly remember seeing this particular model in a store once when I was very young. Haven't seen it since. Thanks for posting this, very cool.
