Manta Ray (Papo - Sea Life).
« on: October 26, 2014, 10:36:16 PM »
Hello friends, this is the figure of Manta Ray (Manta birostris) Walbaum, 1792 of Papo - Sea Life. Total lenght is 150 mm and 200 mm of wingspan. This figure was relased in 2009 and it is avaliable nowaday. Manta rays can grow to a disc size of up to 9 metres (30 ft) with a weight of about 1,350 kilograms (3,000 lb). It can live for twenty years. It is dorso-ventrally flattened and has large, triangular pectoral fins on either side of the disc. At the front it has a pair of cephalic fins which are forward extensions of the pectoral fins. The colouring of the dorsal (upper) surface is black, dark brown or steely blue, sometimes with a few pale spots and usually with a pale edge.

Papo is a young brand in the world of figures if we compare them wit Safari or Schleich, but they have a important place in the world currently. They are famous for their figures of feline and dinosaurs but they are doing great jobs with the reptiles and birds and their sea animals figures are not a exception. This figure have a great details in his head and guills. The color of this figure is fantastic ^-^. Proportions are awesome. I think that. Definetly it is one of the best figure of this specie. It is one of my favorite figures of my collection and I  I bought this figure in a store this weekend ^-^.

I'm sorry I don't know where to post this, but Jetoar, I can't see a single photo of yours, in any thread. It's either a complete blank space, or it's a grey photobucket image.

Here's why: http://animaltoyforum.com/index.php?topic=2085.0

Basically, Photobucket started having people pay a fee to host images on 3rd party websites.
